Mi Tumbao G.R. teaches Casino and Rueda de Casino in Grand Rapids: beginner and improver sessions, private lessons, socials, and periodic rooftop parties with guest DJs and instructors. Their Zunzún Dance Team performs and runs workshops at festivals, schools, and community events. Classes run in English and Spanish, danced to timba and the Cuban son casino grew out of.
Their nights come first, you can see who's teaching each one, and checking in at the door counts toward their reward card.
We believe that social dancing makes this world a better place. By creating an environment where people can gather together and share cultures, languages, and laughter we create a stronger society built on understanding and acceptance.
Either nothing's scheduled, or we haven't picked it up yet. If you organize the next one, send it in.
