Emerged when Lambada dancers adapted their movement vocabulary to Antillean Zouk music. Linear slot; flowing head rolls; close embrace; elastic upper-body connection.

What to expect: Long elastic connection, lots of cambré (back arches) and head circles for the follower. Usually its own night — not mixed with Salsa/Bachata.

Going for the first time

Modern fusion events blend lead/follow styles — Brazilian Zouk, urban kiz, WCS fusion, liquid-lead. Most welcome solo dancers and rotate partners during lessons.

Lead and follow are roles, not genders. Ask before close embrace. Respect when someone asks for more or less connection.
