Going for the first time
Country dance nights mix two-step, country swing, partner country dances, and often line dance choreographies. Many are bar-based, so check the age policy. Boots help but aren't required to start.
Outer lane is for the faster two-steppers; inner lane for cha-cha and swing. Don't stop in the middle of the line of dance. Thank your partner after every song.
